‘Feel It!’ With Rado

Rado’s new collection covers the whole range of elements that have helped make it a major global brand: materials, innovation, technology, history, lightness, smoothness, design, warmth, energy, agelessness, durability, vibrancy, style, fashion, and colour. Says Rado CEO Matthias Breschan, “Why we do what we do won’t change, what we do won’t change. How we present and talk about the brand we’re so proud of, needed to change. We believe ‘Feel It!’ will allow us to connect and engage with a whole new audience of watch enthusiasts all around the world.” We take a look at some of the pieces from the collection.

This watch is a combination of a bronze case, box-shaped sapphire crystal, bronze bezel with high-tech ceramic insert, a titanium case back with sapphire crystal, and a dark green leather strap. Powered by the ETA C07 movement, with an 80 hour power reserve.

Captain Cook is a bigger, bolder reinterpretation of an original model from the 1962 Rado archive. The 42 mm watch is a mix of materials, including high-tech ceramic and sapphire crystal. The dial and bezel stand out with their glossy green appearance. The Swiss-made C07 automatic movement provides a power reserve of 80 hours. The Rado Easy Clip System enables easy personalisation of the strap. The choice includes a rice-grain bracelet in steel, a leather strap, and a Nylon Nato style strap.

The case of this watch is in Rado’s pioneering plasma high-tech ceramic, with stainless steel side inserts, titanium caseback with sapphire crystal, and a stainless steel crown. The green dial comes with rhodium-coloured applied indexes, and the moving anchor symbol. Powered by ETA C07 automatic, which provides a power reserve of 80 hours. Comes with a 3-row polished plasma high-tech ceramic bracelet with a titanium 3-fold clasp, and ceramic pushers.

Inspired by Rado’s first collection from 1957, this watch, with a two-tone colour combination and a steel case, features a green dial and a bezel in polished, scratchresistant plasma high-tech ceramic, with a warm metallic glow. The Easy Clip System allows personalisation of the bracelets that come with the watch. Powered by ETA C07.611, automatic, 25 jewels, 3 hands, red printed date at 3 o’clock, up to 80 hours power reserve.

Besides its slimness (just 5mm in height), this watch stands out for its green mother-of-pearl dial. The 39mm x 43.3mm case is in polished green high-tech ceramic, with a sandblasted titanium case back and a yellow gold-coloured PVD coated stainless steel crown. Powered by the quartz ETA 282.002 calibre.

The secret to this watch is in the cutout dial section at 12 o’clock, which offers a great view of the balance wheel. The 40 mm case is in Rado’s pioneering plasma ceramic. The dial features a light green to dark green gradient. ETA C07 automatic that powers the watch has a power reserve of 80 hours.
